Booking Tips for Bangkok
- 1
Book hotels with direct BTS or MRT access — Bangkok traffic can add 45–90 minutes to journeys that are 10 minutes on the Skytrain.
- 2
Rates drop 20–40% in the low season (April–October). Book early for New Year (Nov–Jan) and Songkran (mid-April) as good hotels sell out fast.
- 3
Request a high floor for city views and to reduce street noise. Bangkok traffic noise can penetrate lower floors of even good hotels.
