Songthaew
฿50–80Shared songthaews (red pickup trucks) run between Krabi Town and Ao Nang regularly. Catch them from Maharaj Road near the pier. Drop-off on Ao Nang main beach road.
Taxi / Grab
฿250–400Faster and door-to-door. Grab operates in Krabi. Private taxis can be arranged at the pier or bus station. Worth it with heavy luggage.
Tuk-Tuk
฿100–200More expensive than songthaew for the same journey. Negotiable. Fine for 2–3 people splitting the cost.

Tips & Things to Know
- 1
Songthaews are the main local transport between Krabi Town and Ao Nang — reliable during the day but scarce after dark.
- 2
If arriving at Krabi Airport, Ao Nang is 35–45 minutes away. The airport bus (฿90) or a minibus transfer (฿150–200) is more economical than a private taxi.
