    Around Full Moon Party, the ferries to Koh Phangan are packed. Book in advance and expect queues. Ferries run late into the night around Full Moon.

  • 2

    Thong Sala is the main pier on Koh Phangan. From there, take a taxi or motorbike taxi to your hotel (฿100–300 depending on location).

  • 3

    The north Samui piers (Bangrak, Maenam) are significantly closer to Koh Phangan than Na Thon on the west coast — choose your departure pier based on where you are staying on Samui.
