Bangkok Airways operates a small turboprop service to Sukhothai Airport (small regional airport near the Historical Park). Expensive but convenient — the airport is very close to the ruins.

Overnight train to Phitsanulok (nearest major rail junction), then bus or minivan 1 hour to Sukhothai. Scenic but slow.

    Sukhothai Airport is unusually close to the Historical Park — if you fly, you can be at the ruins within 20 minutes of landing.

    From the New City bus terminal, shared songthaews to the Historical Park cost ฿30–40 and run until mid-afternoon.
