Bus to Pak Chong + Local Transfer
฿200–350Bus to Pak Chong (2.5h), then songthaew or taxi to Khao Yai National Park entrance (14 km north of town). Songthaews run in the morning from Pak Chong market area.
Train to Pak Chong + Local Transfer
฿100–300Scenic train on the Northeastern Line to Pak Chong station. From Pak Chong, take a songthaew or taxi to the park. Good value and relaxed.
Private Tour / Transfer
฿2,000–5,000Many Bangkok operators offer day tours to Khao Yai including transport, guide, and park entrance. Best value for those without a vehicle.

Songthaews from Pak Chong to the park entrance only run in the morning — time your arrival accordingly or arrange a taxi.

A private vehicle or tour is strongly recommended inside the park — wildlife spotting (elephants, gibbons, hornbills) requires driving slowly through the forest.
