Suvarnabhumi Airport

Suvarnabhumi is Bangkok's main international airport and one of the busiest in Southeast Asia. Opened in 2006, its striking terminal handles the majority of long-haul international flights into Thailand and serves as the hub for Thai Airways and Bangkok Airways.

Airport Rail Link (ARL)
Fastest and cheapest option — runs every 10 minutes from 6am to midnight. Connects to BTS Skytrain at Phaya Thai station.
Taxi (metered)
Use official metered taxis from the designated rank on Level 1. Always insist on the meter — never accept a fixed price.
Public Bus
Cheapest option but slow due to traffic. Bus routes run to Victory Monument, On Nut BTS, and Khao San Road.
Private Transfer / Grab
Grab car is reliable and app-based. Private hotel transfers can be booked in advance for fixed pricing and meet-and-greet service.
