Koh Samui Airport is one of Thailand's most unique — a privately owned open-air airport operated by Bangkok Airways with a distinctive tropical design. It's conveniently located in the northeast of the island and is the only commercial airport on Koh Samui.

3.The airport departure tax (700 THB international) is included in Bangkok Airways tickets but may appear separately for charters.
