Don Mueang International Airport

Don Mueang is Bangkok's second international airport, handling most budget and low-cost carrier flights including AirAsia, Nok Air, and Lion Air. It's located 30km north of the city centre and is considerably older and smaller than Suvarnabhumi.

Public Bus (A1, A2, A3, A4)
Bus A1 goes to Mo Chit BTS; A2 to Khao San Road; A3 to Lumpini; A4 to Samut Prakan. Bus stops outside terminal 1.
Taxi (metered)
Queue at the official taxi counter outside Terminal 1 arrivals. Always use the meter — ignore touts offering fixed fares.
State Railway of Thailand (Train)
A commuter train station sits between the two terminals. Trains run frequently but are basic and can be crowded during rush hour.
Grab / Private Transfer
Grab cars must be picked up at the designated Grab zone — follow signage in arrivals. Pre-booked hotel transfers offer fixed pricing.
