About Nakhon Nayok Province
Nakhon Nayok is a small, green province about 100 km northeast of Bangkok at the southwestern foot of the Sankamphaeng Range, on the doorstep of Khao Yai National Park. It's a favourite weekend destination for Bangkok families thanks to its waterfalls, the massive Khun Dan Prakan Chon Dam, and easy outdoor activities like rafting and ATV trails. The Chulachomklao Royal Military Academy is also based here, lending the area its orderly, parade-ground feel.
