About Chaiyaphum Province
Chaiyaphum sits on the western edge of the Khorat Plateau where Isaan meets the central plains, and much of its area is taken up by forested national parks rather than rice fields. Pa Hin Ngam National Park is famous for its weathered sandstone rock garden and, in the rainy season, fields of pink siamese tulips (krachiao) that bloom across Sai Thong National Park. Tat Tone National Park preserves wide tiered waterfalls that flow strongest from August to October.
