Bangla Road and Patong
Bangla Road is closed to traffic at night and becomes a pedestrian party zone packed with open-fronted bars, live music stages, and clubs. Tiger Discotheque, Illuzion, and Seduction are the largest clubs with international DJs and capacity for thousands. The strip runs for about 400 metres and takes roughly 20 minutes to walk end to end without stopping.
Soi Gonzo and Soi Seadragon are the side streets off Bangla Road where the bar-beer scene is concentrated. These are smaller, cheaper, and more intimate — popular with older male tourists and expats.
