Bangla Road, Patong
Phuket's most famous nightlife strip — 400 m of bars, clubs, live music, shows, and street performers. Closes to traffic at night and turns into a pedestrian party zone.
Most bars don't charge entry. The side sois off Bangla have more laid-back bars if the main strip feels overwhelming.
Illuzion Club
One of Phuket's largest clubs, with a capacity of 5,000, regular international DJs, and an impressive light show system.
Buy tickets online or at the door. Free entry before midnight on most nights. Dress code applies — no beachwear.
Catch Beach Club, Bang Tao
Phuket's most stylish beachfront party venue — Sunday sessions with live DJs, cocktails, and a beautiful stretch of Bang Tao beach.
Sunday is the main event day. Book a sunbed well in advance online. Minimum spend applies for reserved areas.
Café del Mar Phuket
A well-known beach club brand with a Phuket outpost at Kamala Beach — sunset sessions, cocktails, and a more sophisticated crowd than Patong.
Best at sunset. The cocktail menu is expensive but the setting is hard to beat.
Tiger Entertainment Complex
A large entertainment complex near Bangla Road with multiple bars, a nightclub, and live performance venues under one roof.
Popular with package tourists. Fun for a first night out in Phuket. Get there before 11 pm for the best experience.
Phuket Town Night Market & Bars
The old town has a growing scene of indie bars, craft beer pubs, and live music venues on Thalang and Phang Nga roads.
Completely different vibe from Patong — relaxed, local, and much cheaper. A great alternative for travellers who want nightlife without the tourist circus.
