Krabi in February

February is among the finest months to visit Krabi — the Andaman's dry season is in full effect, seas are calm and clear, and the limestone karst scenery is at its most photogenic under blue skies. One of the peak months for both beach holidays and rock climbing.

  • Book Railay accommodation at least 2 weeks in advance for February weekends.

  • Rock climbing — hire a local guide rather than renting gear independently. King Climbers and Wee's Climbing School are well established.

  • The Koh Hong hidden lagoon kayak tour requires high tide — confirm timing with the operator.

  • Sunrise at Railay East (the mangrove side) is unexpectedly beautiful in February.
