Hot, sunny, and dry. Temperatures 30–34°C. Rainfall is low in March. The Gulf of Thailand is calm with good visibility. March is one of the clearest months for snorkelling and the short dive trips available from the island.

Book Haad Rin accommodation 1–2 months ahead for Full Moon Party nights.
The Half Moon and Black Moon parties also run monthly — check dates if you want to attend.
For diving, the main operators (Haad Yao Divers, Lotus Diving) run Sail Rock trips regularly in March.
Thong Nai Pan road has improved but a 4WD or motorbike is still recommended after rain.
The wellness and yoga retreat scene around Srithanu offers a completely different Koh Phangan experience — excellent value for a week-long retreat.
